Here are 10 tips to get the ball rolling:

1. Good ol’ Thermals

Wearing the traditional thermal type Long Sleeve Vest and(or) Long Johns beneath your clothes (if possible) goes a long way to conserving much needed body heat in a cold office environment. Every little layer helps!

2. Keep a cardigan or blazer at your desk

Keep a warm chunky knit cardigan, comfy blazer or zip up hoodie jacket on the back of your office chair as backup for those chilly moments. You may even be able to borrow a company fleece or jacket in some cases.

3. Scarves

You lose 91% of your body heat out of your neck. Scarves are the perfect stopgap.

4. Wear your hair down

If you are not comfortable wearing scarves you can simply let your hair down which helps in keeping your neck covered to help fend off the chill. If you have shoulder-length or longer hair, let it fly free. You’ll be amazed how much warmer you’ll feel.

5. Closed-toe shoes

Believe it or not you lose 86% of your body heat through your feet. Swapping your perforated boots or pumps with some Closed-toe shoes may prevent your feet getting truly frosty. It makes a huge difference when your feet are toasty as these shoes allow for the added bonus of socks! (leaving a pair of slippers/boots or thick socks in a spare drawer could help)

6. Gloves

Finger-less gloves can seriously be lifesavers if you spend a lot of time at to your computer workstation, writing or working with your hands. You may want to consider keeping a pair in your office for those days.

7. Hot Tea or Coffee

A surefire winner to kick the winter chill is getting a delicious cup of Coffee, Hot chocolate or Tea made. Our great delicious cup of Coffee will do just the trick. As an added bonus you can hold the warm mug in your hands to help defrost any signs of frozen fingers.

8. Excercise

Keep yourself warm with short stretch exercise routines in an empty room or storage space will help blood circulation. Hitting the gym during your lunch break may have its perks too.

9. The space heater

When all else fails, fight the cold with warm air. It would be best to check with your office manager to see if any spare ones can be lent to you. Our great deals on heaters will ensure you stay warmer for longer. You do have to be a smart about using it, though — I would turn mine off if I leave my office to go to lunch or a meeting, and I don’t let any papers, shoes, boxes, or other stuff anywhere near the space heater.

10. Close doors and windows

Lastly this may seem obvious but Keep any windows and external doors closed when it’s cold – this will keep heat inside, where you most need it.
